IRVINE, Calif., June 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- RG Global Lifestyles, Inc.
Munters, a Swedish publicly traded corporation with sales offices in 27 countries throughout the world, is the owner of patents for products which condition air to control humidity while producing water from air. Munters recently completed more than two years of testing of its air-to-water technology commercial products and has selected Aquair, Inc., a lifestyles company, to launch these products to certain markets.
Aquair, Inc. has been granted worldwide exclusive rights as their Reseller to sell the patented water generation equipment to customers in the oil and gas industry (drilling and refinery), residential building industry, private and commercial shipping industry, and government agencies. In addition, Aquair has been granted the exclusive rights to sell the water generation equipment to companies that want to bottle water using this patented technology and to the bottling of water for sale. These products do not use existing sources of water, but tap an endless new water source from the air.
"There is a global water crisis," said Louis L. Knickerbocker, Chairman and CEO of RG Global Lifestyles, Inc. "According to the Natural Resource Defense Council (NRDC), water and air pollutants have contaminated our earth's water beyond our ability to cleanse it. As a result, there are 2000 chemicals found in today's water, says the NRDC. About 1.2 billion people or one fifth of the world population lacks safe drinking water and nearly 2.4 billion people have no sanitation. The United Nations projects that by year 2025, supply of fresh ground water will run out and it has declared the next ten years as the "Decade of Freshwater."
