OC Energy’s KIK-it Label Kicks the 2007 Excellence Awards Competition

Dawsonville, GA – October 17, 2007 – OC Energy’s KIK-it™ label was awarded first place in the Labels-Gravure category in packagePRINTING Magazine’s 2007 Excellence Awards, which were presented to OC Energy and SleeveCo at a reception during Pack Expo in Las Vegas on October 16.

The Excellence Awards recognize the highest level of printing quality and technical achievement within the tag and label, flexible packaging, folding carton and corrugated industries.  OC Energy Drinks, a subsidiary of RG Global (OTCBB: RGBL) and Fusion Solutions, produce a line of energy drinks and oxygenated water.

“OC Energy™ is honored and proud to accept the first place award that recognizes the innovation and creativity that went into the KIK-it label design,” said Bob Glaser, OC Energy Drinks Chief Operating Officer.  “Through the collaborative efforts of Fusion Solutions, SleeveCo and RG Global’s late CEO Lou Knickerbocker we were able to transition this incredible design into a retail article.  Fusion Solutions’ creative staff originated the process of adding an optical ink that glows under black light; assuring that the KIK-it label is just as eye popping in a dark club as it is on the local retailer’s shelf.”

Martin Wilson, president of SleeveCo believes the label was a natural choice for the competition.  “The label reflects the high-energy, sleek trendsetting nature of OC Energy’s tie-in with ‘The Real Housewives of Orange County.’ The complex nature of the label’s undulating background and the neon-like foreground lettering demanded rotogravure printing capabilities.  The eight process colors create the detail and feeling of vitality associated with the beverage.  The final dynamic effect was achieved with an optical brightener on the silhouettes and OC Energy logo.”
