RG Global RG Global Signs LOI for Commercial Deep Injection Well: Projects Sharp Increase in Revenue

August 05  2009
Upland, Calif., Aug. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- RG Global (OTCBB: RGBL) has signed a letter of intent (LOI) to acquire a 10-acre deep injection well (DIW) that will be utilized for treatment, reuse and disposal of produced waters and regenerative waste from the oil and natural gas Industry.

DIW Advantages
Keith Morlock, RG Global VP Business Development, said, “Research has proven that deep injection wells operate more efficiently and at a fraction of the cost, compared to alternative concentrated wastewater and brine disposal methods.  Furthermore, DIWs provide an increased economic advantage as they require a nominal operating staff, minimal maintenance, have great longevity and there is an inherent level of safety surrounding this process.”

Increase shareholder value
While both injection wells and seepage ponds are successfully utilized, RG Global chose to invest in injection wells as they are not subject to freezing and closure during winter months.  Prior to sales from increased processing and refinement, RG Global projects this deep injection well will result in gross sales of over $6 million within the first three years.

“We have determined that ownership of a deep injection well is the only way to insure corporate profitability and shareholder value in the water processing industry,” said Grant King, RG Global CEO and President.   “As state and federal regulations increase, water discharge restrictions result in higher discharge costs.  These higher discharge costs pose a threat to the profitability and survival of a water processing company; no matter the benefit of the technology being utilized.”

Competitors currently are very successful in utilizing injection wells and evaporation/seepage ponds for water disposal.  RG Global has based its model on strategic utilization through responsible principles of sustainable development.  RG Global intends to maximize the revenue streams from this water, while minimizing the actual amount of water going down hole.  Through utilization of its DynIX™ and additional innovative technologies, RG Global will be able to provide water for fracking, agriculture, livestock, municipalities or replenishment of surface water.

With the purchase of this injection well, RG Global intends to development a multi-acre facility that will serve as a showplace for potential customers and a technology incubator that nurtures new and upcoming ventures that can be proven and then brought into the RG Global Corporation.  The 10-acre DIW is in a prime location for RG Global’s customers as it is along a major highway that is traveled extensively by the oil and natural gas industries.
